The first investment costs are medium in the category. Maximum filtration temperature is 40\u00b0C.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Polietheresulforone (PES):<\/strong>\u00a0 particularly suitable for white wine filtration, not considerable for hot temperature filtration. The first investment costs are low, and the maximum filtration working temperature is 40\u00b0C.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ceramic membranes:<\/strong>\u00a0they offer the possibility of filtering at hot temperature, sterilizing with steam and filtering dense products. Thanks to their technical characteristics they permit a longer guarantee in duration and a bigger filtration differential. The first investment cost is high compared to the PP and PES solutions.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Each customer can choose the most suitable membrane for himself<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In conclusion we can say that PP membranes are more suitable for tangential filtration process of red wines, while PES membranes are better for white wines.<\/p>\n<p>Ceramic membranes, instead, represent the best solution for wines with high content of solids in suspension.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Polypropylene (PP), Polietheresulfone (PES) or ceramic material?
