The Chempac fully automatic block moulder and wrapper is designed for production of a pre-sliced wrapped block of 2.0 kg to 25 kg of pastry margarine, industrial fat products, bakery fats and butter.
The machine is unique in the food industry amongst block moulder and wrappers. It is fabricated throughout in stainless steel and has no motors or conveyors mounted within its frame. This makes the Chempac the most hygienic machine in it’s field; the only machine in fact that can be washed down with a hot water hose.
The simple yet very robust design of the Chempac means that efficiency during operation is extremely high. Both operators and maintenance staff can be very quickly trained to use the machine and to make adjustments for different machine configurations. There are almost no wear parts on the Chempac and only a very small stock of spare parts is recommended.
The Chempac block moulder and wrapper makes one size of block only, but prior to wrapping, the block can be pre-sliced into 2,4,5 or 10 portions. This enables the baker to use pre-weighed slices when making up dough mixes. The slicing mechanism on the Chempac can be changed from 2 slices to 10 slices in a matter of minutes.
For customers wishing to make blocks of differing dimensions, Chemtech recommends the use of two Chempac block moulders and wrappers rather than the "change parts" normally employed with this type of packaging machine. This saves long change-over times in the middle of production areas. The Chempac can be very easily uncoupled from its station and wheeled away to a cleaning/maintenance area while another Chempac is positioned in its place.
